my father...
is obsessed with sports. there is one thing he has continuously told me over my whole life. it is a quote by american basketball player michael jordan. it goes something like “being successful is 10% talent and 90% hard work”. this is what gets me out of bed in the morning, the thought that if i can find it in myself to work hard enough, i may have the opportunity to be successful.

i am very lucky...
to have two very talented siblings. my little sister has just started buying and importing clothes from korea. who ever knew that her obsession with shopping would turn into her future career? this is a very small selection of a few pieces from her first collection, worn by her. sold exclusively in tel aviv.

i love flowers. there i said it. i love looking at them, smelling them and mostly photographing them. i just spent a week and a half in the french countryside and there were flowers everywhere, mostly roses and i love roses. unfortunately, i never seem to own any flowers myself, so in case anyone out there feels a strong urge to buy me something someday. make it some fresh flowers. preferably...

rachel for matilda & quinn.
shooting all the clothing a couple of days ago for matilda & quinn’s new online shop was rough. i felt so ill i thought i would actually fall over. but a commitment is a commitment and i am a professional, so i waited until i got home that night to die. luckily i have been reincarnated today, still ill but alive and retouching. thank god for rachel, she was a great model and made my job...

jandira.
the last time i photographed brazilian singer, jandira silva was about 5 years ago. she just arrived in london and didn’t speak a word of english and i had dreadlocks down to my ass (need i say more….) we have both grown massively as artists and people since then. jandira now speaks fluent english and my hair is now nice and shiny. this is jandira now…

life is getting interesting...
i haven’t been blogging much recently, mostly because i have been too busy taking pictures. i go back on what i said months ago about product photography. i lied. i actually really enjoy the challenge. ok, so what i have been up to is not overly creative, but you gotta make money somehow, and i just received my p45 from my part time job….also there is so much more exciting stuff to...

did somebody say wet t-shirt contest?
so i hooked up with my boy lingo once again yesterday to do a few more press related shots for him. only this time the photos included his two sexy, blonde, danish backing singers…
and in case you were wondering, i declined the offer to jump in the shower as well…

long shutter speeds and east london traffic.
i had to get a few shots of moving traffic in east london the other night for a little job. it’s been a while since i did some night time street photography and after a couple of hours of walking around the streets of east london to find the best angle, and with frozen fingers, this is what i came up with. kinda funky me thinks.

naadia and i roamed around the basquiat exhibition for a couple of hours analysing his work and we came to the conclusion that within all of his paintings lies the ingredients for a cake. we found eggs, flour and sugar (amongst other random ingredients like black cherries and paw paw) but not butter. although we did find lard and olive...
